The Role Of The Magazine "Saveera" In The Promotion Of Urdu

Abstract

Magazines play a very important role in promoting critical tendency in society. It brings to light good and bad aspects of society. It also makes the reader aware of new and old creation. Magazines built the intellectual and thoughtful foundations of the subcontinent. These are full of expression cultural activities of the society like ‘’Saveera’’ magazine. This magazine played a significant role in the promoting of Urdu language and literature by interpreting progressivism. Early compilers of this paper, there were the figures that had progressive tendencies. It enhances the tradition of literature by publishing works of famous and progressive writers. The writers of different state convey life changing message with the platform of ‘’Saveera’’ magazine and their literary importance cannot be denied. The current age of information, ‘’Saveera’’ and his contemporary journals are promoting moral values, in an upholding justice and raising the voice of deprived sections of the society. They are our great asset.
