Abstract

Samporan Singh Gulzar is a renowned scholar, writer, film director and poet. In his In his poetry, he portrays the different shades of life. This article deals his poetic dimension "TARVEENI". It is a new poetic form which empowers Urdu literature, as we know about the saying of Wordsworth that poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful thinking. Gulzar presents his best in the form of Tarveeni and proved his aesthetic and poetic intelligence.
