Abstract
In the contemporary era, globalization has influenced every sphere of human life, resulting in significant transformations in literature, culture, language, and concepts of human identity. The Urdu novel, being a representative genre reflecting social life, has also been deeply affected by these changes. In Pakistani Urdu novels, the representation of capitalism, consumerism, media culture, cultural conflict, identity crisis, migration, western influences, and emerging social values has become highly prominent. The Pakistani Urdu novel of the twenty-first century is no longer confined to local issues; rather, it incorporates global political, economic, and cultural changes into its thematic structure. Pakistani Urdu novelists have portrayed changing human attitudes, social disintegration, class differences, and cultural conflicts in a realistic and critical manner.
