Ismat Chughtai was a famous progressive Urdu writer. She is considered as one of the four pillars of modern Urdu writing along with Saadat Hassan Manto, Rajinder Singh Badi and Krishan Chander. She enlightened the concept of feminism ,female sexuality and emotional desires of females. She has also highlighted the miserable condition of females and their problems living in the Sub Continent. This research will be focused under her auto biographical novel “Terhi Lakeer”
