Majeed Amjad is a prominent figure of urdu poetry in modern era. His poetical ideology has a strong connection with the love of humanity.A great sorrow over the miseries of common man, Labourers and farmers can be seen in his poetry. He has condemned the cruel behavior of the upper class of society and has written many poems to express his anger over the said attitude. Unfortunately Majeed Amjad's poetry has not been praised from progressive point of view but infact most of the content of his poetry is much associated with progressive themes. Majeed Amjad believes that that there is a succession of goodness that has been commenced from eternity and will remain endless. He has admired this sequence in his poems through unique metaphors.
