Abstract
Riyaz Nadim Niazi has made remarkable contributions to Urdu literature, even though he comes from a place like Sibbi, which is far from major literary centers. He has excelled in different types of poetry, including praise, ghazals, and haikus, gaining recognition in many literary gatherings. His poetry reflects deep observations of society, highlighting the struggles of the poor and helpless. For example, he describes children selling their school bags to satisfy their hunger, leaving a strong impression on the reader. Niazi addresses various issues like terrorism, the conflict between truth and lies, oppression, humanity, love, and beliefs, reflecting both Balochi and non-Balochi societies. His poetry resists political and militant injustices and is rich in social themes, deep emotions, and intellectual depth. The research paper is written on the themes of Riaz Nadeem Niazi’s poetry.
