Abstract

Haiku is a famous Japanese poetry written in three lines, and 17 syllables making a 5-7-5 pattern. It is a farm of poetry which is true representative of Japanese culture. Dr Muhammad Amin is first one who Introduced Haiku in Urdu, His Haikus are deeply associated with human psyche. Dr. Muhammad Amin's Haiku have a vast range of subjects, we can smell, trees, leaves, Sessions, rivers, clouds, sunshine and chirping of birds as clear, as we are observing them with our own eyes. His Haikus enhance the esthetic capabilities in Urdu poetry.
