The most callous and horrendous event in the history of Pakistan is ‎disintegration of eastern Pakistan from the western Pakistan. The external ‎factors as well as internal factors played a pivotal role in this cataclysmic ‎juncture of history of Pakistan. A vast range of the Urdu literature was ‎produced under the influence of this heinous period. Resistance in Urdu ‎novels became an integral after being affected by cultural, social, territorial ‎and demographical norms. This paper deals resistive trends in perspective of ‎disintegration of united Pakistan, its causes and affects upon the society, ‎cultural values, literature and citizens of this exalted land.‎
