Autobiography is an important stakeholder in the field of literature. It poccess the history, politics, religion, society and psychology in its context. So due to the specific importance the Department of Urdu has made research at all stages. So, keeping in view the importance of autobiographical research, it is necessary that not only should there be a list of researched thesis in universities, but also an overview of the research done on these thesis in order to provide guidance to the new researcher in the field of research. In this article, research has been done on the autobiography thesis written in Urdu at the level of M.A and M.Phil in the Department of Urdu of Islamia University, Bahawalpur. So that an improvement in the field of Autobiography research can be taken place.
