Abstract
Majeed Amjad is one of the most important poets of modern Urdu poetry. Especially in the tradition of Urdu Nazm, he is considered as a trend setter poet. He was born in Jhang on 29 June 1914 and died in Sahiwal on 11 May 1974. Although he was from Jhung but he spent the last 30 years of his life in Sahiwal. During his stay, he was an integral part of Sahiwal's literary circle and he also played an important role in strengthening the literary tradition of Sahiwal. He had a wide circle of literary friends in Sahiwal, of which Nasir Shahzad was the closest. Nasir Shahzad has written his long relationship with Majeed Amjad in book form, whose name is Kon Das Geyo. (کون دیس گئیو). This is one of the most important books for understanding the poetry and personality of Majeed Amjad and this book is considered as the primary reference. In addition, this book is also an important reference for understanding Nasir Shahzad himself, especially his unique style of writing. In this article, the scholar has provided important research information about Majeed Amjad and Nasir Shahzad himself through Nasir Shahzad's book.
