Colonel Muhammad Khalid Khan Meher born in Abattabad in 1958. His father's name is Muhammad Younus Khan. In 1985, he got Commission in Pak Army. Mostly people know him as a poet. He has a separate place among the military poets, due to humorous poetry. He has written many books but "Khaki Lifafa" which is published in 2013, in one of the best book, containing on humorous essays. It has nineteen essays and sixty nine pages. He used a very easy and simple language. He noted the civil & military life with keen observation. To maintain military humorous traditions, he also took military subjects in his irony & humor. His way of irony & humor is very beautiful. To read his publications the readers really enjoy and entertain; especially to read "Khaki Lifafa".
