Mr. Pirzada Ashiq Kiranvi, a poet from Karachi, has done a feat in Urdu literature that perhaps no other poet has been able to do for centuries. He has written the longest ghazal in any language. His ghazal contains thirty thousand verses. Urdu has the honor of having the longest ghazal ever written in the world.
